Predictions for the 2021-22 season

Things have changed quite a bit over the last week. The Avalanche is not doing too well. The Panthers are at the top of the expected standings and the Flames are favorite to win the Cup.

Last week, it looked pretty much set which team will make the playoffs but the Golden Knights have been playing poorly and are now in danger of not making the playoffs. There might be some drama in the West before the end of the season. It the East, it looks pretty much all done.

Power ranking

The Panthers are on top with the Flames not too far behind. Then, there is quite a gap to the Blues in third position. The Avalanche, the Maple Leafs and the Lightning have dropped in the power ranking over the last few years.
