Predictions for the 2021-22 season

The Avalanche and the Panthers are at the top of the expected standings, practically with the same number of expected points, once again. The Flames had a bad week, dropped in the expected standings, and are no longer favorite to win the Cup. The Avalanche has about 26% chance of winning the Cup.

I haven’t been paying much attention to the Rangers but they are doing very well; 6th in the expected standings this week.

Power ranking

The Avalanche is on top, a few points ahead of the Hurricanes, the Flames and the Panthers. It’s quite a step to the Penguins in fifth position.
