Predictions for the 2021-22 season

The Avalanche won their series against the Oilers and the Lightning won against the Rangers just like my model predicted before the conference finals began. However, my model found that the Rangers were favourite to reach the finals after winning the first two games against the Lightning. It was quite a turnaround for the Lightning to comeback and win the next four games.

That should be a great series between the Avalanche and the Lightning. The Avalanche are favourite to win the Cup. I don’t think it will be easy and I think the Avalanche can win only if it gets great goaltending from either Kuemper or Francouz.
