Predictions for the 2019-20 season

In my last predictions in March, the Flyers had the highest probability of winning the cup. In these predictions, they are dominating. They were playing very well in March and have been dominant in the round robin. The heavy weight given to recent games might make them look stronger than they are. They will face Montreal in the first who according to these predictions have only a 3.1% probability of making it to the second round.

In the West, the Avalanche and the Flames are favorites, each with about a 10% probability of winning the cup.

Power ranking

The Flyers dominate the power ranking. The lowest team in the power ranking that made the playoffs are the Stars at number 25. They played badly before the season was forced to end in March. Montreal is 23rd.
